LPN PROGRAM AT ECEC (Summer 2025 Update)

The LPN program is 8 months – 4 terms of 7 weeks each.  Each term is 5 credits, so the complete LPN program is 35 credits.

The terms either start in Fall and end in Spring (2 terms each semester), or start in Spring and end in Summer II. 

All classes are at the ECEC.

Two main pathways to LPN:

--Students who have failed the 1^st year of the nursing program, may enter the LPN program.  They may return to the nursing program after a year as an LPN, and completing a summer bridge program.

--Outside students – CNAs, etc. who wish to join the LPN program.  Prereqs:  BIOL130+131; PSYC100; ENGL101.
