Montgomery College students that have completed their
general education requirements and plan to transfer prior to completing an
associates degree can now request a “Gen Ed Program Completed” stamp to be
posted on their transcripts.
This is especially helpful to our MD transfer institutions
because it will make it much easier for them to recognize and transfer the gen
ed program per MHEC guidelines, “A completed general
education program shall transfer without further review or approval by the
receiving institution and without the need for a course-by-course match”
To complete the request students
will need to go to “student form” section of the admissions page, print, sign
