Germantown Campus Registrar effective January 23, 2023

Title: Montgomery College Memorandum - Description: Montgomery College (logo) Memorandum

To:

Student Affairs, Student Access Unit

From:

Dr. Jamin Bartolomeo, Collegewide Dean of Student Access
and Germantown Student Affairs

Subject:

New Appointment

Date:

January 19, 2023

I am pleased to announce that Ms. Pamela Wessells accepted the position of the Germantown Campus Registrar effective January 23, 2023.

In her new role, Ms. Wessells will provide leadership and direction for the Germantown Campus Records and Registration Office.  Her area of supervision will include registration, classroom scheduling, graduation certification, and transfer credit evaluations.

Ms. Wessells began her career at Montgomery College in 2020 as the Rockville Campus Assessment Center Manger. She supervised the daily operations of the Rockville Assessment Center, leading a team of five direct reports, and seasonal student assistants.

Before coming to Montgomery College, Ms. Wessells was the university registrar at Stratford University. There she transitioned the operations of seven campus-based registrars to a central office serving the entire university. As registrar, she evaluated, developed and updated reporting processes. She also established an electronic student record repository, managing the transition from paper files to the electronic platform.

Ms. Wessells holds a bachelor’s degree from Towson State University. Ms. Wessells will be located in the Dr. DeRionne P. Pollard Student Affairs and Science Building 109, Germantown Campus. She can be reached at Pamela.Wessells@montgomerycollege.edu or 240-567-7817.

Please join me in welcoming Ms. Wessells in her new role.
