This is to ask
you to alert all MC Counselors to a very important opportunity for
students at Montgomery College. Over the past year, MC has been working to
develop relationships with community organizations that support people who are
dealing with sexual violence. The Sexual Assault Legal Institute of The
Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault has offered to provide free,
confidential, on-campus legal counsel to students who are dealing with and want
to understand legal options having to do with sexual assault.
Students can make an appointment to meet with Alexandra Hoskins, Esq. in ST 256 (TP/SS campus) on December 6 by submitting the following online form. The form goes directly to her and *does not* create any MC record of any kind. ST256 is a private meeting room, tucked away on the second floor of ST.

Note: If this address is not clickable, it can be pasted into the browser—the form will appear.
Please share this opportunity with students, and do not hesitate to forward to anyone in the MC community who could benefit. We hope to make this a monthly offering; if the "pilot" at TP/SS works, we may eventually be able to spread it to other campuses.
