Students
who place at the ELAR 980/AELR 930 level or have completed
ELAR 970/ALER 920 can take the Math ACCUPLACER for the first time without a
referral. The Assessment Center will still process any referrals from a
counselor/advisors as normal, deferring to your judgement, if the student
doesn't meet these guidelines.
Also, students in AELW940/ELAI990 will continue to be
eligible for any Math course they test in to.
