New Transfer Website Launched!

We are live with a new transfer website! I invite you to explore the new site at www.montgomerycollege.edu/transfer.

You’ll immediately notice that it looks more like other MC websites. This allows us to make the site reactive to the needs of students – including highlighting upcoming events, unique partner programs, and multiple call to actions. The site also meets accessibility requirements and is mobile friendly.

The right menu will help you navigate the website. The old Advising by Major page is listed on the menu as “Transfer Information by Major.”  The “Additional Transfer Resources” connects to (among other things) information about unique student populations such as military, international and honors students, as well as printable/sharable flyers and the steps to transferring. New additions to the website include a Frequently Asked Questions page, and a Transfer Tool Kit, which highlights information about transfer advising for some of our top transfer institutions.

Also updated is the Transfer Times, now available at mcblogs.montgomerycollege.edu/transfertimes, and linked on the right menu bar.

We will continue to move pages from the old format to the new site in the coming months. So, check back regularly for new and updated information.

Please feel free to send me any feedback you have about the new site. And, if you have an idea for additional content, please share that as well.
