As of July 20, 2022, the new media production AA: 614 and media production certificate: 260 are both open for enrollment. The media production AA replaces radio AAS: 309A and television AAS: 310A. The media production certificate replaces digital media production certificate: 214 and broadcast journalism certificate: 207. These programs can be found under the Broadcast Media Production heading in the College catalog.
Due to the new media production AA and certificate, the former programs are suspended and no longer accepting enrollment. The three-year suspension period provides an opportunity for currently enrolled students to satisfy degree requirements or change their major to one of the new programs. The suspended programs will be deleted after spring 2025.
Feel free to contact Professor Joanne Carl should you have questions regarding any of the above programs.
