UM StandOut Network Application - Courses Completed/In Progress

This is a frequent question about filling out the UM StandOut Network Application for Admission  - does a student have to fill out all of their MC courses ever taken?  It may be best answered by Leslie and Yenti the UM Pre-Transfer Advisors so I am including them, but from what I have heard from students is that they can fill in their MC current classes in progress for this Spring 2023 semester only and then click on “I have finished adding my courses” and that seems to work.  This is what UM advised students to do back when the application was Coalition (bought out by StandOut).

But if it doesn’t work or if Leslie and Yenti say that they must fill out every course ever taken at MC, then give the student directions on how to access their Unofficial Transcript (In MyMC, go to “Request a Transcript” and then click on “View Unofficial Transcript”) so they can see the entire list of their classes in the semester order that they were taken – a test of their typing skills for sure.

The Transfer Application FAQ’s only address whether a student needs to fill in all high school courses:

Q: Do I need to complete the 9th through 12th grade course list?

No. At the top of the page, there will be a box you can select that states I have finished adding my courses. Please select that box and you will be able to bypass the High School Course section of the StandOut Admissions Network profile. This should only be done in cases where the student applying is a transfer student.
