Please share information about the STEM Ready Pathway Program with your students at Montgomery College. Any student who may be interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Biotechnology at UMBC’s Shady Grove campus could greatly benefit from the opportunities that we aim to provide.

STEM Ready is a unique support and career-readiness initiative designed for students committed to completing a STEM degree and becoming workforce-ready. We offer structured guidance, professional development, and access to industry-aligned opportunities that go beyond the classroom.

Key Highlights:

· Open to all Montgomery College students—applications accepted on a rolling basis.

· Seamless pathway to UMBC Shady Grove in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Biotechnology.

· Career-readiness workshops, coaching, and experiential learning opportunities.

· Dedicated program staff to support students throughout their academic journey.
