If a student takes MA097 to replace a grade in MA101 or Ma099 to replace MA103 a few things happen:
1) The old grade will be excluded from the GPA.
2) The credits attempted from the previous attempt, when the course had credit, will be subtracted from the overall credits attempted.
Remember, the new courses do not carry credit.
