In the 2016-17 catalog MATH098 has been changed to a
corequisite for MATH165 instead of prerequisite. What this means is that
students who want to take them concurrently no longer need an override.
This saves a lot of footsteps and run around for students since it was a
permission we automatically granted.
Please remind students to sign up for a MATH098 class that
meets in the first half of the semester if they are in MATH165 and second half
if they are in MATH096.
