MTAP 2017 Application Now Available!

I wanted to let you all know that the MTAP application for Spring 2017 participation is now open! The deadline for those who would like to participate in MTAP for the spring 2017 semester is November 15th.

Enrollment verification will be due for participants by December 1st and students will be notified of their MTAP decisions by mid-December.

The online application is located at the top of the page as a hyperlink shown as "The MTAP application is now available for Spring 2017 participation."

For your reference, here is the MTAP application: https://ouaapp.umd.edu/sofia/mtap

Also here is the link for the MTAP website if you need a refresher of what MTAP is all about: https://www.admissions.umd.edu/apply/mtap.php

I will be sending out a chart of all deadlines for MTAP applications, enrollment verification, and decision release for your reference.

Students who completed high school abroad should type UNKNOWN where it asks for high school information. The application indicates how students should fill that portion out since it is a required field.

"If the school is located outside of the United States: Type UNKNOWN into the School Name field and enter the country in which the institution is located. Click the Search button again."

Feel free to check it out and create a fake account (using TEST in the middle name) so that you are able to assist students with the application should they have any questions.

If anyone has any questions feel free to let me know!

Have a great weekend :)
