Students who are planning to apply to UMB (the University of Maryland, Baltimore), either Shady Grove or the Main Campus, need to take both EN 102 and EN 109. This is a requirement for all students who apply for Fall 2012 and thereafter. EN 101 transfers as one of the Humanities courses required. In previous years, students had a choice of EN 109 or a Literature course, but EN 109 is a must from now on.
The ARTSYS pages for all Maryland four-year nursing programs are under revision and will be corrected soon. You can always find the latest version of a correct UMB page for MC students under the "Advising by Major" link on the MC Transfer Page.
